Westminster Tower, originally built in 1983, has been thoughtfully revitalized to reflect the spirit of contemporary London. The new façade pays homage to its original design, featuring carefully selected materials that enhance its historical character, and elongated vertical lines that amplify its height and elegance.
When Mustard & Linen set out to design the interiors for Westminster Tower, their vision was clear: to create “a tranquil and luxurious haven at the heart of the bustling city.” Their inspiration came from the tower’s breathtaking riverside location, and the iconic London landmarks framed by each apartment's floor-to-ceiling windows. “The view of the Houses of Parliament, The London Eye, and the Shard—the juxtaposition of the history and modernity of this city inspired our concept,” the design team explains.
To bring this vision to life, traditional elements such as the Victorian marble mosaic floor in the lobby were reimagined with a contemporary twist, seamlessly blending the old with the new. Features like engineered stone and bespoke joinery were thoughtfully integrated into the apartments to ensure a timeless and enduring elegance. Ambient lighting was also carefully curated, adding atmosphere and sophistication to each residence. The tower’s design wouldn’t be complete without art to enhance the space. “To elevate the interiors, we are partnering with a UK-based artist to create a unique collection of pieces that will add a distinctive and refined touch,” the team shares.
